Shortest blog i’ll probably ever write.

1. Talk about money with your friends. The homie that you vibe with, might have the piece of knowledge you need that will transform your wholeee situation. The. Whole. Thing

The key that’ll lift you out of debt. The key that’ll help you negotiate the best pay packet. The key that’ll help you save that deposit (shout out to my bros)

Let’s not let this neoliberal capitalist materialistic flossing culture we’re in, continue to shame us into believing that we need to figure out our finances by ourselves.

1. Audible

I stopped fighting with myself. I’m not great at reading physical books. I want to learn and dig into great stories, but to sit down and read a book is challenging for me.

After reading 2 books in 8 years, I got onto audiobooks and read 4 in the last year.

Learnt so much about the world and myself. I feel so much more equipped to learn and get into anything i want. My gym and audible are arguable the two best investments I made in my self-development prcess.

Why is it so great?

Read.. anywhere and while multi-tasking. As my life got busier, reading physical text felt like such a huge sacrifice. However, by listening through headphones, I ripped through dense books WHILST washing the dishes, WHILST sitting in traffic WHILST doing tedious work on my laptop.

Also you get to hear the book in the voice of the author a lot of time. If not, you hear the text voiced by great actors/actrresses who can really bring the stories and cultures of the story alive. You can easily rewind the story in case you missed something important (just me?) and loads of great podcasts and audio shows are available too.

My financial situation, creative output and car rides have been transformed because of it. It’s pretty hard to top. I’ll probably say more about it in other blogs lol. You’ve been warned. Seriously though, it’s definitely worth it.

DIY Artist LTD has a special promo code if you wanna check it out. The first book is free (tell your friends 🙂 )

I’ve attached links to the physical books as well, in case some of you are good at that.

Let me know what you’re listening to or reading below. Nowadays i’m always up for a book recommendation haha

Also if you spoke to a friend about their money situation, how did it go?

Hope you’re all good

Sending blessings and good vibes – Peace,

Deehj.
